Growing of high-quality seeds is one of the major problems of vegetable production branch, as the quality of seeds on a first-priority basis determines the efficiency of vegetable production. Therefore, the development of selection and seed production of vegetable crops in the Republic of Belarus attracts much attention. The main problem in the Republic of Belarus is import of vegetable seeds which accounts for 80-85% of requirements. To solve this problem the country has the necessary climatic and other economic conditions, thus reducing the import of vegetable seeds up to 15-20%. The efficient organization of seed production based on the progressive agricultural machinery, as well as on the efficient methods of pre-sowing seed treatment, will make it possible to increase yielding capacity of vegetable crops on 19-24%. In the study it was proposed to create an association of vegetable crops seed producers. The association could help to solve the following problems: provide coordinated interaction of all seed-growing structures on seed growing and selling; realize perspective planning of seed production and supply them to all vegetable production farms and population; provide the development of marketing activities for seed selling; increase the level of scientific support of seed vegetable production.
