Massive development of udder pathology is one of the most important problems of dairy cows. Inflammatory processes in mammary gland of lactating cows lead to bacterial seeding of milk and create a danger for human health. Therefore, development of effective medical and preventive measurements, implementation and producing of safety anti-mastitis means is the problem declared to solve in the research. Mastitis is a widespread disease of lactating cows all over the world; in the period of active milk productivity disease level achieve 75%. Widespread occurrence of mastitis implies large economic damage, including milk productivity decline, premature culling of cows, calves morbidity and yeld animals number increase. Nutrient and technological properties along with biological value and sanitary qualities of milk go down. Secondary diseases of animals, such as endometritis, cystic lesions and other pathologies are provoked by mastitis also. Bacteriological researches reveal important role of microorganism as a basis of mastitis development; staphylococcus aureus and streptococcus are the dominate ones. Besides that, mycoplasma, viruses and filaria also appear the reason of mastitis development. Complex measures of mastitis curing are suggested, different medicinal preparations are analyzed. Necessity of the comprehensive prophylactic and medicinal measures of mastitis prevention is substantiated.
