In course of the research there was studied the influence of application of mineral fertilizers on productivity of vegetable legumes (Vicia faba L. var. major Harz.) of varieties Russian black and Belorussian on sod-podzolic sandy loam soil in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in 2009-2010. The agrochemical characteristic of arable horizon of the trial field in Pinsk area of the Brest region had the following indicators: pH KCl - 5.9-6.2; content of R2O5 (0.2 M HCl) - 170-180 mg/kg; K2O (0.2 M HCl) - 220-240 mg/kg; humus - 1.8-2.0%; boron (N2O) - 0.5-0.6 mg/kg; copper (1 M HCl) - 1.5-1.7 mg/kg; zinc (1 M HCl) - 4.1-4.3 mg/kg; manganese (1 M KCl) - 0.4-0.6 mg/kg; molybdenum - 0.08-0.09 mg/kg of soil (index of agrochemical cultivation - 0.85). As a result of realized research it was found that application of mineral fertilizers increased productivity of vegetable legume seeds by 1.01-1.70 t/ha, with the best indicators of productivity in the variant with application of N30P40K90 during pre-sowing cultivation (seed productivity of the variety Russian black made up 10.91 t/ha, variety Belorussian - 10.19 t/ha).
