In course of the research there was studied the problem of low quality of milk obtained from cows in pasture period due to its late cooling. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. There was analyzed the milk getting at Gorki (Mogilev region) milk plant both from the whole region and from certain particular farms to determine the dependence of milk quality on milking conditions. On the basis of the analysis of milk production it was established, that the Gorki area in 2005 has surpassed level of 1995 as in milk production, and on mid-annual milk yield from a cow. Since 2005 on present time steady growth of these indicators which in 2010 have made accordingly 63863 t and 5708 kg was observed. As a result of realized research there was shown graphic dependences, which represented the dynamics of milk quality checked every month. Cooling milk by a field cooler immediately after milking was suggested. At the faculty of mechanization of animal and agricultural production electrification together with Open Company 'Masan-cold' (Minsk, the Republic of Belarus) there was created a pre-production model of a refrigerator for cooling of the milk received in field conditions, with memory capacity.
