In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was analyzed essence of the competitive advantages of enterprises of dairy production sub-complex which included the realization of scientific and technical policy in the sphere of healthy nutrition, as well as creation of waste-free production with advanced and complex milk processing. Formation of competitive advantages of enterprises of dairy sub-complex could serve as a solution of a problem of their further development. Economic indexes of the branch development testify to the sustainable growth of production capacities. First of all this concerned to the leader enterprises. At present moment the main direction of the development strategy should be not only expanding the production capacity but also forming the competitive advantages of high order, and on this basis, achieving the new quality of economic growth. That is why the innovative type of development, in spite of all difficulties on its realization, served as a priority strategy of translational motion of advance of the agro-industrial complex.
