Study some factors affecting modern technologles adoption on fish farming enterprises in Sharkia governoratge

The main objective of this research is to determine the average degree of adoption modern technologies in fish farming enterprises, related to the different categories of studied factors. The comprehensive of study includes all owner fish farms in Sharkia governorate 183. The data were collected by personal interview using questionnaire to collect data during September and October, 2008. The methodology of the study was used percentages and means. The present study has concluded that most of the respondent positively adopted modern technologies in fish farming were characterized as follows (1) Age: Less than 30 year's with an average of 24.37 degree (2) Education: Graduate, with degree of 24.95. (3) Location: Urban, with degree of 23.21. (4) Place of born: Urban, with degree of 23.07. (5)Family size: Less than 4 persons, with degree of 22.26. (6)Training courses: More than 6 courses with degree of 31.95. (7) Experience in fish farming: (5-10 years) with an average degree of 22.72. (8) Social participation: (High) more than 18 with degree of 22.14. (9) Awareness of fish farming: more than 27 with degree of 22.60. (10) High awareness of extension work: more than 10 with degree of 31.38. (11) High knowledge of extension services: more than 44 with degree of 30.91.
