This research aimed at to study the extent of functional performance quality for the three-dimensional knitted fabrics. The importance of the research lies in revealing the role of the three-dimensional in achieving thermal and clothing protection, reaching the best fit- that achieves. the., functional performance for the women's clothes, raising the final quality standard for the clothing product and determining the best standards for women's clothes material regarding the best structural texture, machine gauge and number and of yam since these factors affect the quality and economy of the clothing product as well as the possibility of making use of these properties in making ready made clothes. Different cloths were produced with different varieties -as the yarn specifications for all the cloths produced under research were (%100 cotton No 20, %100 acrylic No 28/2, polyester No150 and licra 28). Structural texture included (rib hanging stitch a single needle, rib hanging stitch on more than one needle). Samples were produced by using the rectangular knitted machine gauge 7. After that some lab tests were conducted on the fabrics under research to determine their different properties and the relationship of these properties with the study variables These tests were conducted at the check and quality laboratories at the National Institute for Measurement and standardization in the Terca str/Elharam. The study concluded that Fabrics produced from the blend (cotton/Acrylic) with the construal texture rib hanging stitch on a single needle is the best for all the functional properties for the fabrics produced under research.
