Biology and generation number of sugarbeet cyst nematode on Brassica napus in Khorasan province.

During 2004 -2007 the biology and number generations of the sugarbeet cyst nematode on rape were investigated under field conditions in chenaran area of Khorasan. Samples of root and rhizosphere soil were taken every three days and the number of various stages of nematode per 10gr .root and 250 gr.soil were counted. The results showed that under experimental conditions, H.schachtii has four generations per year. First generation appears at September 13 and lasts 24and 2nd .3rd .and 4th ones, Last 62 ,145 and 27 days ,respectively. Degree days for each generaticn was Calculated 440OC degrees Centigrade with the base temperature 0f 8.oc
