The diversity of agromorphologiscal traits such as pod and seed characteristics in 639 accessoion number of Chitee common bean(Phaseolus Vulgaris L.) from National Plant Gene Bank of Iran (NPGI) after regeneration in Seed and Plant Improvement Institute (SPII) research farm(in Karadj), were evaluated in National Bean Research Station in Khomein (Markazi province)during 2002-2004. Among qualitative traits the highest number of phenotypic classes were seen for as primary and second seed color and prematurely and maturity pod color too.The high variation were detected for metric traits such as number pod per plant, flower buds per florence, seed per plant and yield per plant respectively . Evaluation pattern diversity of discrimination traits like growth habit , seed size and seed color revealed the most variant populations were collected from Markazi province( the most important farming of common beans region in Iran). Stepwise regression and correlation analysis indicated seed number per plant and 100-seed weight were shown the most effect on variation of seed yield per plant , followed by the date to maturity. According to Climate parameters, bean germplasm collection origins clustered into logical pattern, however this relation was not seen for the geographical distribution, maybe duto germplasm exchange between regions(cities). Finally 46 accessions number from germplasm selected for advance evaluation.
