Investigation the effects of Ardabil Poultry Slaughterhouse by Product Meals on Broiler Chicken Performance

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of the using different levels of Poultry Slaughterhouse by Product Meals on performance and carcass characteristics of broilers. In this experiment, 120 eleven days old Ross308 (combining sex) broiler chicks were used in completely randomized design with 4 treatment and 3 replicates. The Poultry Slaughterhouse by Product Meals were used in the levels of 0(control), 3, 6 and 9 percent in whole diet for the periods of grower(11-32d) and finisher(32-46d) in 5 weeks period. All diets applied in this experiment is isocaloric and isonitrogenus. The results showed that feed intake in all stages, body weight gain in finisher phase and overall period , Mortality percentage and live weight at 46d no significant difference between treatments(p0.05).while body weight gain in grower phase, feed conversion ratio in grower, finisher phase and overall period(11-46d)of experiment and live weight at 32d were statistically different(p0.05).using 6 % of Poultry Slaughterhouse by Product Meals in diets decreased feed cost per kg of live weight and also increased Production efficiency Index in all treatments except 9% of Poultry Slaughterhouse by Product Meals in overall period. Increasing use of Poultry Slaughterhouse by Product Meals in diets has led to significant increase in percentage of abdominal fat pad(p0.05), but there were not seen significant differences in percentage of carcass(oven ready yield), thighs, breast , liver and bile sac among treatments.(p0.05). The result showed that use of 6% Ardabil Poultry Slaughterhouse by Product Meals in diet no adverse effects on performance, Production efficiency Index and carcass traits of broiler chickens.
