Studying of Performed Modifications on Cereal Planting machines for Optimum Planting of Rapeseed
2011
Eyvani, Afshin | Shirani Rad, Amir Hossein
In order to investigate the effects of modifications made on cereal seed drills to make them suitable for canola planting , an experiment was conducted as strip _ split plot in a complete block design using three replications in 2001-2002 at karaj . The factors were: soil preparation methods including ordinal and improved seed bed preparations assigned to main plots and seed drills with six modification including Barzgar Hamedani seed drill with sky , Barzgar Hamedani without sky , Trashkaden seed drill with complete attachments , Trashkadeh seed drill without cloud passer , Trashkadeh seed drill excluding primary pressing wheel and Trashkadeh seed drill excluding cloud passer and primary pressing wheel which assigned to sub plots . All of the phenological stages were recorded , morover traits such as plant height , No . of siliques per plant , No . of seeds per silique . 1000 seeds weight , oil percent , seed yield , oil yield, biological yield and harvest index were measured. The results showed that the main effects of soil preparation and different seed drills and the interaction effects of them were significant at 1% probability level for seed and oil yield . Mean comparisions showed that the treatment combinations made several different statistical groups , and the Barzegar Hamadani seed drill with sky combined with improved seed bed preparation showed the highest seed and oil yield , i.e. 3089 and 1284 kg/ha respectively . As Barzgar Hamadani seed drill showed the highest performance at both ordinal and improved seed bed preparations and is suitable for recommendation for canola planting.
