In this study, most common feeds including alfalfa, sainfoin, barley straw, wheat straw, rice straw, wheat and rice bran and barley grain were sampled, according to the stratifled randomized sampling method in Isfahan province. Thirty samples was prepared for ech feedstuff for chemical composition and gross energy (GE) determination. The average curde protein (CP), nutural detergent fiber (NDF), Ash, calcium (Ca) and phosphorus (P) content were 17.52, 42.27, 10.57, 1.36 and 0.23 in alfalfa ; 17.68 , 33.51 , 7.81 , 1.2 and 0.17 in sainfoin; 3.92, 68.1, 11.41, 0.64 and 0.04 in wheat straw; 4.16, 77.57, 12.67, 0.73 and 0.05 in barley straw; 5.14, 73.7, 14.23, 0.76 and 0.07 precent (DM basis) in rice straw respectively. The average CP content of barley grain were 11.57 percent that showed the lowest CV. The CP content was higher in wheat bran than that of the rice bran (16.36 v.s. 12.61 percent). Manganese concentration in rice bran was more than four times comparing to wheat bran (435.61 v.s. 104.67 mg/kg DM) but, zinc concentration of wheat bran was more than that of the rice bran (122.75 vs 32.67 mg/kg DM).
