Baroque 10% SC a new acaricide was evaluated against immature stages of spider mites has been evaluated in two doses of 25 and 50 ppm in 100 liter water in comparison to registered acaricides ( Omite, Danitol, Citrazon, Tetradifon and Appolo ) on panonyhus ulmi Koch a primary mite pest of red and golden apple vbarieties during 1999-2000 in Tehran, Meshed and Oromieh region. The field trails was conducted according randomized complete block design with four replications. The sampling interval sampling carried out one day before and 3,7, 14,21 and 30 days after miticides application. Mortality of mite population calculated by Henderson- Tilton method and analysis of varience done on means of collected data by different treatments. The effects of treatments compared with Duncans multiple range test. The mite moralities in all treatments were found significant at the level of one present in Tehran. The Oromieh results were also found identical results of similar treatments recorded in Oromieh. Duncans grouping of treatments indicated ing that both doses of Baroque 10%SC placed in second ranks grouping, while the results of mixed baroque + omite gave higher moralities in Oromieh in both years studies. Maximum effects between treatments and sampling times recorded in first ( 3 days ) and second ( 7 days ) times of data collected after treatments. comparing of adulticides and ovicides treatments individually against the mite pest in Meshad showed that, the baroque with 50 ppm, has superior effects on eggs and immature stages and placed in group of A in both years without noticeable control on adult mites. In brief, results of both baroque doses on immature stages of mite pest found effective rather than adult stage. Application of baroque can be reccommended to control eruopean red mite when immature stages of mite observed from first generation on apple leaves in spring season.
