Production of CMS and Restorer Lines from Phoma resistant Spring Type Varieties of Rapeseed.

Based on experiments carried out during the last years in Iran, canola hybrids varieties indicated more yield than OP varieties. Male strile, maintainer and restorer lines are 3 main factors in hybrid production. As, blackleg disease are increasing in canola farms creating of resistant hybrid varieties has an important role in breeding programs. Because of the mentioned reason, producing of blackleg resistant restoer lines of hybrid varieties are the main goals of the study. Selfing method used as breeding method. The first generation of selfing in growth season 1384-85 were obtained. The S2, S3, S4 and S5 were obtained in growth seasons 1385-86, 1386-87, 1387-88 and 1388-89 respectively.
