Effectiveness of Azospirillum in some maize hybrids.

The objective of the investigation discussed in this paper was to study the effect of Azospirillum lipoferum strains on the length, mass and nitrogen content in the above-ground part and root of flour maize hybrids. The studied strains differently affected the maize hybrids. The highest effectiveness was achieved with NSSC-530 hybrid, the lowest one with NSSC-606. On average, the studied strains affected the length and weight of plants strongly, while their effect on nitrogen content was weak.
