A proposal which describes the possibilities for animal feed control to gain more insight and knowledge about the nutrient composition of animal feeds. The importance of the quality of the animal feed, the present problems and the goals come up for discussion and the possibilities for efficient and effective control are dealt with. In an appendix the names and descriptions of the current feeds and the demands on the composition are given.
