The following has been concluded on the basis of the results of the study: The content of crude protein increases in all feedstuffs (wheat straw, soybean straw, lucerne hay) treated with anhydrous ammonia. Digestibility coefficients were greater in the treated feedstuffs. The better energy/nitrogen ratio in treated feefstuffs causes better utilization of nutrients.
