The paper is an attempt for statistic description of the cobs filling rate of ripening corn. It was based on numerical data collected in the Plant Cultivation Station Kobierzyce in 1982. The analysis of variance, the test of interaction distribution into differential components of the trend and the test of parallelism of the regression planes was applied. In this way for two hybrids of corn the time trend of changes of dry weight of grains in three parts of cobs was determined and the trends were compared to each other.
