Storage of rain-damaged wheat and barley.
1994
Dick A.
Understanding how storage conditions affect the life of cereal grains can help avoid costly marketing mistakes. A model is now in use for barley but further work is needed on wheat. Key factors are the soundness of the grain when it goes into storage, its moisture content and its temperature in storage. SAFESTOR is a computer program used to estimate expected storage life.
