The analysis of plum hybrid progeny obtained in 1982 from crosses for the characters of winterhardiness, productivity and yield of promising seedlings is presented. Cross combinations Stenly X Edinburgskaya and Stenly X Mestnaya Krasnaya yielded promising seedlings. The use of cultivar Stenly in breeding Prunus domestica for fruit quality is promising. The progeny of cultivar Evrasia 21 turned out the most winterhardy but it is characterized by very low productivity and late fruiting. Five promising seedlings were evaluated for the complex of agricultural value characters.
