Present situation of Korean food processing machinery.

In order to understand the present situation of food processing industry and to obtain basic information necessary for the development of food processing machinery, a survey was made on 119 food machinery manufacturing companies and 33 food processing companies, and also, other related statistical data were analysed. 85% of 119 companies surveyed have employees less than 50 persons and 74% were located in Kyungin district. Major items of the manufacturing companies were packaging machines, dryers, pulverizing and mixing machines.
