The conservation status, management and future sustainable use of two species of crocodiles in the Philippines, namely: the saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) and the Philippine freshwater crocodile (Crocodylus mindorensis) are discussed. The roles of the RP-Japan Crocodile Farming Institute in Irawan, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan in fulfilling the goals of the national crocodile conservation program are also presented.
