English. Etawah Crossbreds are Indonesian goats, that have a high potential for development in rural areas, because of their bi-functionality (the production of meat and milk). The limited for development of Etawah Crossbred goats which the relationship of reproduction, that is the slower of the mature and the lower they have a smaller number of kids per birth, compared to Kacang goats. This study intends to find out the influence of 300 IU of PMSG on the number of pregnancies and the number of kids born from Etawah Crossbred. This study uses 60 does and 2 buck with a Randomized Block Design is the design of the research. The results of the study show that the pregnancies of block of goats with PMSG injection and control are 80,77 percent and 65,39 percent respectively. It appears that the two treatments have significantly different results (P < 0,05) on the numbers of kids born by PMSG injected does is 148,00 percent and that of the control is 83,33 percent, they have significant difference (P < 0,05).

Kendala perkembangan kambing PE yang berhubungan dengan reproduksi antara lain adalah lambat dewasa dan jumlah anak perkelahiran lebih sedikit, dibandingkan kambing Kacang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh 300 IU PMSG terhadap kebuntingan dan jumlah anak kambing PE. Materi penelitian menggunakan 60 ekor kambing betina dan 2 ekor pejantan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebuntingan pada kelompok yang disuntik PMSG dan kontrol masing-masing adalah 80,77 persen dan 65,39 persen yang berbeda nyata (P < 0,05), sedang untuk jumlah anak yaitu 148,00 persen dan 83,33 persen yang berbeda nyata (P < 0,05).
