Osservazioni sulla variazione di alcune caratteristiche fisiche di un terreno declive (struttura e umidita' ) in relazione a diverse modalita' e colture [Basilicata].

ITALIANO: Vengono riportati alcuni risultati sperimentali ottenuti nel 1992 in un'area collinare della Basilicata, riguardanti le osservazioni a tre profondita' (0-20, 20-40, 40-60 cm) dell'umidita' e della stabilita' di struttura di un terreno coltivato a favino da seme e frumento duro, sottoposto a quattro modalita' di lavorazione: aratura 40 cm + erpicatura (A+E), discissura 50 cm + aratura 20 cm + erpicatura (D+E), discissura 50 cm + erpicatura (D+E) erpicatura (E). Le lavorazioni hanno influenzato limitatamente le variazioni di umidita' del terreno, mentre tra le due colture si sono riscontrate sensibili differenze. Durante il periodo di osservazione la stabilita' di struttura del terreno ha presentato variabilita' legata agli eventi meteorici ed agli effetti delle lavorazioni. La lavorazione superficiale, effettuata con la sola erpicatura (E), ha presentato valori di stabilita' di struttura sempre piu' bassi rispetto alle altre lavorazioni.

Data are reported on soil structure stability and water content of a clay-loam soil with 14% slope under a wheat-horsebean rotation and four tillage treatments: ploughing at 40 cm + harrowing (A+E), scarifying at 50 cm + ploughing at 20 cm + harrowing (D+A+E), scarifying at 50 cm + harrowing (D+E), and harrowing (E). Soil samples at 0-20, 20-40, and 40-60 cm depth were collected in the second year of treatment (1992). Tillage methods affected soil water content to a limited extent. Values for the E treatment were generally lowest but no clear differences emerged between the other methods. The stability of structure was related to meteorological events and tillage methods. Minimum tillage (E) showed lower values of structure stability compared with the other methods.
