In pot experiment by spraying poppy plants with 60 ppm GA and addition in their soil of 15,30 and 60 mg per plant CCC, at harvest time, increased dry weight and total nitrogen, proteins, phosphorus and potassium quantity per 5 plants. The greatest increase in the dry substance production (29.9%) was produced by GA while the smallest (6.8%) 15 mg per plant by CCC. The greater elements and proteins quantity in the plants treated with growth regulators is a consequence for their higher relative content in the dry substance and greater weight, specially of the aerial parts. Furthermore, the GA and CCC application in general decreased chlorophyll content throughout the vegetative period, whereas carotinoids pigment content increased during the stem extension and unripe capsule (during the stem extension the only exception were the plants treated with 15 mg per plant CCC where carotinoids pigment content in the leaves was smaller then in the control plants) and decreased during the following teme, in the leaves was smaller then in the control plants) and decreased during the flowering teme, in the leaves per gofresh weight. The chloroplast pigments content in the leaves decreased during the growth.
