An experiment on pregnant cows given the diet containing 4.4 kg (A), 5.4 kg (B), 6.4 kg (C) or 7.4 kg (D) of concentrate feeds per day during the last 2 weeks of pregrancy was done. The highest content of dry matter, total protein, globulins, Ca and P in milk and colostrum of group A cows was stated. No influence of feeding level during dry period on subsequent milk performance and body weight of cows was observed.
