The research studies confirmed, that sprinkling irrigation highly increased tuber crop and increased the content of greater fractions with simultaneous lowering of smaller fraction content and it had positive influence on growth of dry matter and starch content. The greatest increase of crops due to sprinkling irrigation was observed particularly in dry years. Growing batches of nitrogen fertilizing distinctly diversified tuber crops and they caused the greater fractions content on sprinkling irrigated objects to grow up, without clear influence on dry matter and starch content. The research results proved high suitability of light soils for potatoes cultivation, provided that agricultural actions are performed properly as well as sprinkling irrigation is used in dry periods.
