Physiological and chemical response of Atropa belladonna plants to some growth regulators [Egypt].

Atropa belladonna plants were sprayed with Ethrel 100, and 200 ppm Alar 100, and 200 ppm and CCC1000, and 2000 ppm beside distilled water as control. Ethrel decreased plant height and chlorophyll a content especially in leaves. The plants treated with 2000 ppm CCC were decreased in height, chlorophyll a,b, carotene and alkaloid hyocyamine. Alar treatments gave different results. They decreased plant height, stem dry weight, chlorophyll contents and carotene especially 1000 ppm treatment.
