Galal M.A.
The effect of 3 irrigation intervals on vegetative growth, yield, fruit quality and on-tree fruit storage was studied under the clay loam soil condition. It was found that shorter irrigation intervals enhanced spring shoot length and number of developed leaves. All treatments had no significant effect on yield when estimated by weight, longer irrigation interval decreased weight, juice volume and at same time it slightly increased both total soluble solids and total acidity.
