Thresher-cum-sheller.

The Department of Agriculture in the Philippines and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) have jointly developed a thresher-cum-sheller. The newly developed machine is a rice thresher which can be converted into a corn sheller in about 15 minutes. As a rice thresher, the machine can thresh up to 1.5 tonnes of paddy per hour. As a corn sheller, it can shell 5 tonnes of corn per hour.
