The forecrop appeared to have exerted little influence upon the autumn development of rape, and in spring the dry mass of one plant of rape grown after the Nadwislanski cultivar field bean was highest. Against the background of the stand after the best Sk 673 line its weight of 1000 grains was higher by 3 percent, but the number of siliques on a plant lower by 5 percent, the number of siliques from 1 sq m by 11 percent, crude fat content by 1.3 percent, crude fat efficiency by 6 percent, total protein by 3 percent and the yield of seeds by 3 percent.
