Study of recombination transgression variability of gliadin genes in common wheat (T. aestivum).

Cerny J. | Sasek A. | Sykorova S.
Transgression recombination variability of parental gliadin, and/or gliadin and glutenin, genetic markers of baking quality in wheat, was investigated on the basis of an electrophoresis of gliadins, and/or gliadins and HMW glutenins, of four hybrid combinatios of common wheat - winter form in F2 and F3 generations. The satisfactory frequency of manifested transgression recombination classes was recorded if the number of analyzed F2 generation individuals reached a third of the size of the smallest complete zygotic population of the given F2 generation hybrid.
