Stezenie serotoniny w odcinkach jajowodu kury (Gallus domesticus).

Serotonin (5-HT) concentration in infundibulum, magnum isthmus and shell glands of hens was determined. The significant higher content of 5-HT in infundibulum than in the others parts of hen oviduct was stated. The significant higher 5-HT concentration in infundibulum at 2-1 h before oviposition than at 1-2 h after oviposition was observed. The role of 5-HT in the hen oviduct function is suggested.
