On the basis of a 5-year study on labour productivity of the main oil plants (sunflower, soybean, rape) in the socialist sector, in different parts of Yugoslavia, the following has been concluded: differences in the height of the achieved yields and direct labour spent, also result in different labour productivity levels; great oil plant yield instability is still present; direct labour consumption is still high.
