In all, 143 allies were detected with a mean of 6.5 Polymorphism-Information-Content(PIC) values ranged from 0.10 to 0.85 SSR markers were found to be useful for cultivar identification and assessment of genetic relationships in rice. Most of the rice cultivars could be uniquely identified by at least three SSR markers.
