The effect of hay and silages as well as green forage from lands fertilized with 320 kg N per 1 ha in ammonium nitrate form (K) or that fertilized with 1:1 of ammonium nitrate and liquid manure mixture (D) fed to cows was observed. The higher content of protein, casein and phosphorus and lower content of nitrates and urea as well as the shorter renneting time in cow D milk than in cow K milk was stated. The milk yield of cows D was higher than that of cows K.
