Population dynamics of the yellow spider mite in raspberry fields have been studied in 1992. The relationship was established between leaflet and leaf occupation. Timing of sampling was defined and thresholds were proposed. The most efficient strategy was a treatment after the harvest just before the yellow spider mite entered diapause.
