Two peaks of 2,3-DPG concentrations in erythrocytes were observed. The first peak occurred in the 6th week of pregnancy and the second one a week before farrowing. Similiar changes were found in blood content of T3. Positive correlation was noted between T3 and T4 concentrations, but no significant correlation was demonstrated between 2,3-DPG and T4 contents.
