There are happen several processes on the sun, resulting with emitting of large amounts of UV and X-rays and corpuscles. Summary these processes are named as active processes and characterised by sun activity, measured by Wolf's number. The sun activity is periodical with period length approximately 11 years. With the same period many phenomena on the Earth are changing (quality of radio communications, thickness of trees age - rings, attacks of locusts, intensity of cyclones and anticyclones and others) thus giving evidence on relationship with the sun activity. The sun activity affects weather as well.
