There were 836 and 164 gilts in the normal groups. The abnormal group consisted of true hermaphodite (0.2 %), uterine imperfecta (0.3 %), oviductal diverticularization (3.9 %), hydrosalphinx (0.1 %), follicular cysts (5.6 %) and cystic corpora lutea (7.0 %). Among the normal gilts, there were 151, 42 and 144 prepubertal gilts in groups A, B and C, respectively. In sexually mature group there were 63 and 436 gilts in groups D and E, respectively. The physiological data revealed the left ovaries were more active than the right for all reproductive stages and in the aspects of weight, size of the ovaries and number of follicles. The weight of the uterus in the sexually mature gilts was significantly heavier than the prepubertal group. Among the prepubertal gilts, the weight of the uterus in group B was significantly heavier than C and C more Than A.
