Study on the sowing date of sunflower varieties in northern Khuzestan region.

Three varieties of sunflower in four sowing dates were compared in a split plot design with four replications. The experiment was repeated in three consecutive years and agronomic measurment were recorded in each treatment. The results showed a significant interaction between genotype and sowing date. The period between 13th Aug. until 1st September was found to be the most appropriate sowing date.
