Considerazioni sull' indice biotico dei macro invertebrati nel fiume Pescara entro l' area industriale di Chieti [Italia].

ITALIANO: Il Pescara e il fiume abruzzese piu importante per gli insediamenti civili ed industriali che attraversa. Si e studiato l'inquinamento nella zona industriale di Chieti confrontando i dati biologici, espressi dagli indici biotici dei macroinvertebrati (TBI, EBI, VeT, e Ve), con quelli chimico-fisici; in particolare si e messa in luce una buona correlazione con i valori medi di ammoniaca e di azoto totale ed inoltre con una grandezza, elaborata sui dati della Commissione Passino, esprimente una soglia di rischio di tipo cumulativo. Dei quattro indici usati quelli che meglio aderiscono al quadro chimico-fisico sono l'EBI ed il Ve, mentre il TBI e il VeT, come noto, sottostimano eccessivamente il grado di inquinamento organico.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. The river Pescara has been object of a research about the nature and the degree of pollution due to the industrial area of Chieti (Abruzzo). As biological approach to this problem the macroinvertebrate biotic indexes (Trent biotic index, TBI; Verneaux and Tuffery, VeT; Extended bioticindex, EBI; Verneaux, Faessel, Malesieux, Ve) have been calculated and correlated with some parameters important for the aquatic life. The EBI and the Ve seem to be the best criteria for the analysis of the water of this river, while the TBI and VeT seem to be invitiated by some factors underestimating the degree of organic pollution.
