In this study, a local breed female cat was inseminated intravaginally with the semen taken by electro-ejaculation from a male cat of the same breed and it was obtained pregnancy. The semen were taken from the male cat by electro-ejaculator under the anesthesia, and examined for spermatological parameters after diluted with Tris extender. On the basis of anamnesis, clinical inspection and parameters of vaginal smear, the female cat was inseminated two times with fresh semen in an internal of 24 hours. Fifty IU HCG was injected intramuscularly to the female cat after the inseminations in order to provacate the ovulations. Pregnancy was determined by ultrasonography on the 30th day after the first insemination and whelping taked place on the 58th day.
