The newly-created apple variety MB 623 is a diploid one, has a regular and very good yield and relative resistance to the apple scab, with the tree habitus suitable for production, well arranged fruits of even size and shape and very large ones. It is also characterized by late blossoming, late harvest, good keeping qualities in ordinary storages and in cooling storages, by high acid, vitamin C and sugar content, as well as resistance to the oxidation processes.
