DEUTSCH: Seit 1978 wurde im Agrarsektor Chinas das staatliche Betriebsmonopol durch Markt ersetzt. Danach hat die Tierproduktion ueberdurchschnittliche Zuwachsraten erzielt. Trotz zuechterisch verbesserter Tiere sind die Mastleistungen wegen falscher Rezeptur und Mangel an Mastfutter gering. Fast 90% des Fleischverzehrs entfallen auf Schweinefleisch, gefolgt von Gefluegel. Rinder werden vorwiegend als Arbeitstiere genutzt.
