The paper deals with the results of studying the efficiency of new forms of phosphorus-containing fertilizers for barley on soddy-podzolic sandy-loam soils. The application of ammophosphate and complex nitrogen-phosphate-potassium fertilizer ensured the most similar yield in comparison with the standards (ammophos, double superphosphate). The efficiency of low-temperature calcium polyphosphate, phosphate-potassium fertilizer on nepheline base and sulphoammophosphate was lower. 1000-grain weight and protein content in grain were determined to a greater extent by weather conditions at the stage of grain formation than by fertilizer types.
