Nutritive value of green bulk of pure maize and maize in a mixture with melilot and that of silages prepared from these stocks was studied. The silage from maize + carbamide + diammonium phosphate was prepared for comparison. It was revealed that in comparison with pure maize the yield of dry matter, energy and protein per hectare increased owing to mixed sowing of maize and melilot.
