Results showed that with different energy sources, feeding frequencies failed to affect significantly the pituitary weight of does. However, twice feeding daily showed that fresh ipil-ipil leaves supplemented with corn had significantly lower pituitary weight than does fed with fresh ipil-ipil alone. Does fed twice daily with corn supplemented ipil-ipil leaves had significantly higher thyroid gland weight than does fed fresh ipil-ipil leaves done twice daily. Does fed ipil-ipil leaves done four times daily had significantly higher adrenal weights compared to does in all other treatments. Supplementing corn or molasses to fresh ipil-ipil leaves did not significantly affect the weight gains, dry matter intake, reproductive traits, haemotological values, organ weight and reproductive system and function of does.
