English. In a vineyard submitted to a test of soil management, a possibility for utilization of the leaf temperature came about. The cultivars submitted to the test were "Sauvignon" and "Chardonnay". An infrared thermometer was used. The chemical weed control treatment showed temperatures inferior to the other ones and a negative difference between leaf temperature and air temperature, an indication of a great water content of the soil. Between the two grape cultivars, the "Chardonnay" gave temperatures inferior to the "Sauvignon" confirming its greater capacity of adaptation. The results show that the leaf temperature can constitute a valid instrument in the identification of the most correct management of the vineyard.
Show more [+] Less [-]ITALIANO: In un vigneto sottoposto ad una prova di gestione del suolo con diverse tecniche, si e' verificata la possibilita' di utilizzare la temperatura fogliare in campo viticolo. Le cultivar sottoposte a prova sono state "Sauvignon" e "Chardonnay". E' stato impiegato un termometro a raggi infrarossi. La tesi diserbata ha mostrato temperature inferiori alle altre ed un differenziale Tf-Ta negativo, indice di un maggior contenuto idrico del suolo. Tra le due cultivar sottoposte a prova, lo "Chardonnay" ha avuto temperature inferiori al "Sauvignon" confermando la sua maggiore capacita' di adattamento anche a climi con estati siccitose. I risultati mostrano che la temperatura fogliare puo' costituire un valido strumento nell'individuazione della piu' corretta conduzione del vigneto.
