Seven adult, female Johne's-disease positive Pashmina goats detected by allergic and faecal examination and an equal number of age-matched controls were utilized. The results suggested that I/V johnin test along with haematological study can be applied diagnostically in goats. The advantage of this test lies in its sensitivity evinced by the thermal response. In the absence of thermal response, leukocytic changes (N:L ratio) may be helpful in determining positive or negative test reaction.
